I started practicing the art of e-commerce taxonomy in 2006 when an employment opportunity arose with Big Hammer Data. My time there utilized past work experiences from that of a retail manager to a die caster and avid DIY'er to help create taxonomies that are in use today on some of the United States largest retailers and publishers.

I picked up woodworking as a hobby from my Grandpa Bradford. He lived on the outskirts of Green Bay Wisconsin selling cedar lawn furniture. For more than 20 years he supplemented his retirement with his hobby. It gave him great joy to go out to his shop to create and build. I hope that one day, I can be the craftsman that he was.
